The muscle around the eye is virtually circular, starting at the inside of the eye, up and around the top of the eye near the brow bone, continuing around the outside of the eye, and under the eye back to the inside.

Skindulgence 30-Minute Facelift System is Aloe Vera. There are only about 1 in 200,000 people who are allergic to Aloe Vera. Anyone with particularly sensitive skin may do a test patch on the inside of their wrist before applying it to their face. Although not allergic reactions, if spottiness or a slight itching feeling occurs, use additional moisturizer. If your skin becomes red or irritated, discontinue use.

Often times, people with these types of minor skin problems can use a bit of the moisturizer underneath the masque, particularly in the affected areas, to help even up the skin layers and protect the sensitive areas. People with severe Rosecea should not use the Skindulgence Facelift System because their skin may not respond well to the stimulation of the masque, possibly causing some enhanced redness or irritation to people with Rosecea. Those with any type of severe or chronic skin problems should seek the advice of their dermatologist or health care professional before use.

Skindulgence 30-Minute Non-Surgical Facelift, and I really like it! I noticed that it contains Diazolidinyl Urea, which I heard could be a
"hidden" carcinogen. Can you comment on this, and what is the percent of Diazolidinyl Urea in this product? Is it harmful to health?
| | A. | According to the CTFA safety memo issued in May, 2004, Diazolidinyl Urea has been found to be safe for use in cosmetic products at an ingredient quantity of less than 0.5% of the formula. In 2002, The European Union took a look at the potential of Diazolidinyl Urea and its' sister ingredient Imidazolidinyl Urea to be considered in a group of formaldehyde releasers in cosmetics. It was found at that time that as these two ingredients degrade (as most ingredients do over time) that they do not release formaldehyde type of substance or at least if they did is was too little to detect or measure for testing. It is one of the most commonly used preservatives in skin care. The amount of Diazolidinyl Urea in the
Skindulgence 30-Minute Non-Surgical Facelift masque is less than 0.3% of the formula, an amount that is well within the margins deemed safe by the CTFA. <<>> |
